Planning your First Quarter Sales Kick-Off event?

Using the End of the Year to Reevaluate and Recharge for Success in 2025
To have long-term success you must master the basics. One basic is a year-end
review.

  1. Reflect on the Results

Take the time to honestly assess your 2024. What went well? What didn’t go as planned?

• What were my biggest accomplishments this year?

• What lessons did I learn, even from setbacks?

• What goals did I not accomplish, and why?

• How did I grow personally and professionally?

• Am I drinking the Get Switched On Smoothie?

• What BRUTAL FACTS must you confront?

As we age, taking care of our #1 Asset – health and energy, is even more important. Our goal should be to reach “retirement age” with no chronic diseases and no medications! I proudly am on track. Are you? If not, why not? If you need help, I can coach you to get back on track. NCOA reports 79% of adults have TWO or MORE chronic diseases at age 65!

  1. Assess Your Game Plan

Did you have clear targets for the year? Which ones did you achieve, and which ones did you fall short on? It’s important to look at these with a growth mindset—rather than seeing missed goals as failures, see them as opportunities to learn.

For the goals you didn’t hit, think about why. Were they realistic? Did they align with your values and long-term vision? Adjusting your approach for the future can help you set better goals in 2025, ones that are both challenging and achievable.

  1. Set Clear Intentions for 2025

The new year is a fresh start, and it’s the perfect time to set goals for the year ahead.

But don’t just throw out generic resolutions—be specific. Think about the key areas in your life where you want to grow, whether it’s career, health/fitness, finances, joy/fun/experiences, relationships, personal development and faith. Test the secret strategy this year. It has worked for me for over 30 years.

  1. Take Stock of Your Habits

Success in 2025 will largely depend on the habits you live each day. We can’t decide our future, but we can decide our HABITS. Is there a new habit you need to adopt – reading, listening, exercise, diet, relationships, spending, investing, faith…

Is there a BAD habit you must stop right now? Maybe it is what you put in your mouth or the amount – excessive screen time on social media – a web site you should give up –you are still drinking Diabetes Water/SODA – you are on your phone in the bedroom at night – Consider:

• Morning AND Evening routines (Are they setting you up for success?)

• Time management (Are you prioritizing what is really important?)

• Mindset (What can you listen to, read or watch to stay positive?)

• Self-care (Are you tracking your exercise on the Motion is Medicine Schedule?)

Start small. Choose one or two habits to focus on at first and build them into your daily routine. With consistency, they’ll become second nature and propel you forward.

  1. Create an Action Plan and Habit Plan

Once you have your goals and habits in place, develop an action plan. Map out the first quarter of 2025 and set some benchmarks. What are the first steps and habits you need to adopt to take to get closer to your goals? What resources or support do you need to stay on track?

Conclusion

The end of the year is a powerful time for reflection and goal setting. By taking a step back to evaluate 2024, learning from your experiences, and setting clear intentions for 2025, you can make the coming year your best yet. Remember, success doesn’t happen overnight, but with consistent effort, intentional goals, and a solid action plan, you’ll set yourself up to win in 2025.
